AHCSAW301 - Construct conservation earthworks

This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to use specialised earthmoving techniques to achieve fine tolerances in the construction of conservation earthworks. Construction is often carried out using a single earthmoving machine in varied conditions and terrains that requires the plant operator to develop skills that are unique to this sector.This unit applies to individuals who work under broad direction and take responsibility for their own work including limited responsibility for the work of others.Special vehicle licenses may apply to this unit, dependent on the type of machinery being used.
