This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to implement the National Velvet Accreditation Scheme (NVAS) to an enterprise.All work must be carried out to comply with workplace procedures, work health and safety, animal welfare and biosecurity legislation and codes.This unit applies to activities performed by velvet producers or their staff in accordance with the requirements of the National Velvet Accreditation Scheme.
