This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to implement procedures to restrict the movement of vehicles, personnel, resources, animals and plant material when engaged in a response to a biosecurity incursion.The unit applies to individuals who have been appointed or engaged to undertake a role within an emergency disease or pest incursion response. They work under broad direction and take responsibility for their own work, including limited responsibility for the work of others.
