This unit of competency covers the development of planning strategies to address sustainability issues, using renewable energy sources and opportunities to recycle products, improve the efficiency of the business and reduce off-site impacts from the production system.It will involve working in a safe manner and applying sustainable renewable energy systems to rural, regional and local conditions.
